This powerful server tool automates the extraction and conversion of structured text documents into valid XML. The VorteXML Server relies on profiles created by VorteXML Designer to guide the conversion process.

How it Works

The VorteXML Designer profiles contain data extraction, filtering, calculation, transformation and mapping rules that are used by VorteXML Server to create XML output. Here’s how it works:

• Each distinct document type, such as invoices or purchase orders, has its own profile with the instructions for processing the input and output requirements
• VorteXML Server matches the profile with an appropriate input data set to perform the XML conversion
• All of the information regarding the profile, input file name and location, output location and output file prefix is stored as a project in the database and is accessible from the VorteXML Server Administration Console
