Datawatch Announces Datawatch ES Version 4.6
Provides Web-enabled Enterprise Business Intelligence, Enhanced Microsoft Excel® Integration, Robust Data Analysis, Compatibility with Monarch Version 10 and More
Chelmsford, MA -February 5, 2009 - Datawatch Corporation (NASDAQ-CM: DWCH), a leader in Enterprise Information Management (EIM), today announced general availability of Datawatch ES, Version 4.6, the latest version of the Company's enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) and enterprise reporting solution. Designed to further enhance the already robust capabilities of the Company's current offering, Datawatch ES 4.6 offers new features that allow enterprises to easily extract and analyze information from critical business documents to drive more efficient operations.
Datawatch ES creates the functional equivalent of a data warehouse at a fraction of the cost by storing and transforming existing reports and other business documents into web-enabled, enterprise BI, with no programming and without altering current systems and processes.
Datawatch ES 4.6 features compatibility with Monarch V10 and provides export of data to Excel with extended support for Excel 2007, including .xlsx files containing up to one million rows of data, embedded instructions for pivot tables and Excel formulas. Also included are additional enhancements to improve performance when processing extremely large documents, increased granularity when extracting data from multi-subject document pages, new data filters and sorting capabilities, and improved administrative functionality. Datawatch ES 4.6 also offers support for additional operating systems and databases:
- Windows Server 2008 support
- SQL Server 2008 32/64 bit support
- SQL Server 2005 64 bit support
- Oracle 11i database support
- Websphere 6.1 support
- Tomcat 6.0 support
